Tash is such a ho'

Hi J&D

I've been doing my music stuff this week, learning computer programs, and stuff for residency again. It's all coming together slowly, and I'm de-stressing nicely.

You can see that Tashy is de-stressing too, wow she can really be lazy sometimes - she actually stayed like that for ages while I was watching some telly, she started slipping off my belly and ended up on her head!!! :o)

I'd like to phone you guys again soon to catch up on stuff - where will you be on Sunday morning? The clocks have changed here, and I think they've changed in Guernsey too, which means that there's only 11 hours difference now - so I won't be so sleepy on the phone.

Catch ya lata, lots of groovy love from yo' Dad xxx

Hiya Dane & Jess

I've just been catching up with myself lately, doing some music stuff, organising the home, and getting the residency thing going.

I had to have blood tests and an x-ray the other day, yep lots of nasty medical type questions - the good news is that i'm fit and healthy, and ready to go another few years yet :o)

We went and bought a dining room table and chairs from the 'TradeMe' online auctions - it's great, no more sitting by the 'door' on some cushions like last year - I'll take a picture of them when its set up so you can see, wow a proper dining room!!!

You look like you've got some new shoes Dane - Oma says that they have got wheels in them so you can 'roller skate' around, wow, are you good at it? Have you fallen over yet? Are you feeding the horses Dane, what are they called again - "Rosey" and "Tilly" or did one of them die, whos's the new one?

Keep in touch me lovelies, love Dad & Alexia xxx

Waiheke Ferry

Hello beauties,

I found this photo the other day and though it was a lovely one of us together. Do you remember the ferry ride accross to the mainland after Waiheke Island - did yo guys ever get a copy of the video of the 'crazy cat play' you did in Fossil Bay, that was a fun night aye!!

Alls well here - I've been doing some of my music stuff for a couple of days at last. I passed two of my work reports with A's, yey - only one more report to mark now before I know for sure that I've graduated.

The weather has been really hot, it's a real Indian summer at the moment so we're enjoying the sunshine :o)

Phone you tomorrow, love Dad xx

"Help it's the jellyfish plants!!"

Hiya J&D

I went to the botanic gardens with Alexia the other week and I was attacked by a giant jellyfish plant aaahhh!!! I survived though, but I did need an extra big ice-cream to calm me down.

Wow Jess you've finished your 11+ exams, now you just have to wait for your results on Saturday 19th of May :o) how do you feel you've done? Which school do you want to got to? Hey, isn't your room being decorated, hows it looking?

Hiya Dana, how are you doing? Do you want to go to majorettes? Are you going already? Is your room being decorated as well? Too may questions aye - maybe i'll have to phone you guys so you can give me the run down on whats going on.

Well I'll try ringing on your Sunday morning at 9am, will you be at Serenity and ready for a chat??

Keep in touch

Lots of love Dad, xxx

Alexia's Birthday

Hello J&D

Hope you guys are all right, no news is good news aye :o) Are your exams going OK Jesse? What have you both been upto lately???

We've just celebrated Alexia's Bithday (third of March) with a sunrise over Lyttleton Bay and a groovy breakfast in the back of the van - very tasty - croissants and jam, cheeses and pate with cups of tea, coffee and OJ. Later Autumn took us to a vineyard for lunch - yummy platters of meats and cheeses with bread and crackers - yes our bellies were very full afterwards. Our weather has been quite hot lately, which is a bit of a killer in the tomato hothouse. I am working there parttime now and just about to start a research assistants job with my horticultural supervisor for a month.

I'm going to graduate soon, yes the cap and gown and all that. It'll be on the 20th April, yippee what a relief that the studies are over for horticulture. I may be starting teacher training at Canterbury in July - I will keep you posted on that one.

Keep in touch me lovelies, Dad xx
