You-Tube - jungynz

Hiya J&D

I have now put on a link to my You-Tube channel where you can access all of the videos I have made and also see some of the favorites I have collected over time. I haven't used all of the favorites on the blog, so there maybe some you'd like to see :o)

Also I have just done a You-Tube video for Sarah (Alexia's niece) who won a gold medal and became a New Zealand under 17 national champion - she is training really hard and is proving herself to be a very strong cyclist. You will find her race in my You-Tube channel under 'Sarah Martin Winning Gold'.

Stew's Graduation

Hiya Folks

I've just finished a 'You Tube' video for my graduation for all of you to enjoy

[click on title for the video]

Alexia was the star *camerawoman* :o) using Autumns camera, she had to run up and down the procession - it was a wonderful day, and the weather was fantastic!

Thanks Ma & Pa for the lovely telphone messages, I matched your glasses of champagne with a night out on the town with some of my Uni mates. The meal with the Alexia's family was great.

Luv from Stew/Dad & Alexia xxx

Rivers for Jesse's Project

Hiya Jesse

I thought I'd give you a little help to inspire you on your way with the rivers project. I jumped onto Wikipedia and found out a little about rivers in general.

[click on title to the 'river' page]

The River page gives a list on the 10 largest rivers, and also a list of loads of other rivers too. I personally like the Nile, which runs from Central Afirca all the way to the Mediteranean.

One of my other favourites is the Yangtze river in China. This is an enourmous river that starts up in Tibet. China has just built one of the largest dams in the world and has raised the water level over 500 feet in places. There is quite alot of imformation on Wikipedia about it, click on the underlined or blue links!

You will find it easier to do the project on rivers with loads of easily available information - for example; rivers that are used for commerce such as the Mississippi and the Rhine will be easy to write about - check out there web pages on wikipedia too as a start.

If you want to do some interesting wildlife studies then there are two stunning ancient old rivers the Amazon in South America that starts in the Andes, and the Congo in Africa with its amazing gorillas, bonobo chimpanzees and river elephants.

Remember to click on the blue hyperlinks in wikipedia which will take you to more information - its like treading a path of questions with answers - but remember to bookmark the things that interest you and for your project so that you can find the information again!

Have fun and tell me wich 2 rivers you want to study - then we'll answer the questions that your project requires - like economics, dams, waterfalls, wildlife etc.

Dana's Getting Taller!!

Hiya Dana

I was scouting through my photo's and came accross this one of you guys in the park - wow it really shows how tall you've become lately. You must be catching up to mums height now, how far away are you? :o)

I hope you are enjoying the holidays, play scheme, and staying at nans - hey stop sneekin' that cat into your bedroom ;o)

Tashy is getting fat again, I think cos it's autumn and getting colder so she's eating as much as she can - so cheeky tho' we reckon that she's got a third house to go to now to get food and the occasional sleep - she still likes to sleep at mine, altho' she's gone off her sheep skin cos we washed it and it fell apart !?!

Well my camera has broken down, very fustrating, I was gonna take some more pictures of around here, but it'll have to wait until the camera gets fixed, or we borrow another one

Love you lots, keep in touch, Dad xxx
