Hiya girls, been busy doing stuff at Uni again!! - there was alot of chat around Uni about a meteorite that had come down from space at around 3pm yesterday, and some people said they heard it, I was on my way home at the time, but yep sure enough it did happen - click on the title above as it links to the news story.

Dad was just telling me about the meteor that rocked Christchurch yesterday(Tuesday)afternoon...cause I thought something had boom-banged onto our roof!! I got such a suprise that i went outside expecting to see something..like a hole in the roof or part of our roof on the front lawn! i forgot to mention it to dad. So now i know what the big booooom was and feel abit WOW knowing that I experinced a meteor wizzing past our house all fire-ball like with a huge puff of smoke!! bit spooky really!

Hiya Girls - yep once Alexia new it was a meteorite she was quite shocked and excited that it had come so close to Christchurch.
Have you openede the Homework Help page? Some of the sites look as tho' they might be quite helpful - the internet is full of interesting stuff if you get stuck and want some information.
